The next big thing?

Estate agents are familiar with the usual questions from buyers who are thinking about becoming a potential home owner but is there something new to consider just round the corner?

According to the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEN) information regarding the air quality may become a new addition to property listings. This will allow buyers to consider the quality of the air in different locations which they are considering.

Is now the time to buy??

Recent reports have revealed that the UK property market fell by 0.4% in April. This was the second consecutive month that prices fell.

All though this is not great news for home owners it is spells opportunity for buyers. If you are looking for a property and want fully the ideal property we can help. Call today to find out our full range of services.

Cannot find the perfect property?................This could be the answer you have been looking for!

Unlike a lot of other property finders we don’t just deal with estate agents or properties that are currently on the market.  Lowther Property Finders pro-actively search for off market opportunities for our clients. We often approach property or development owners that are not on the market to try and broker a deal before the property reaches the open market.

Property buying a pleasant experience?

Effectively we are a personal agent for the buyer or renter with the sole interest of looking after the best interests of our client. As a result for the majority of our clients we manage to save a considerable amount of time, money and stress. In addition they are more likely to get a property that suits all of their requirements in the timescale of their choice rather than having to compromise.

The most beautiful places in the UK

People travel far a wide for stunning views and breath taking scenery but many people over look what the UK has to offer. Have a look at the link below for some stunning areas of the UK.
How would you feel waking up every morning to some of these views.

Buy-to-let bounce back

The early part of the year saw an increase in buy to let purchases as investors bought up property before the change in stamp duty regulations.
Since then the market has slowed over the middle part of the year but according to Rightmove the market has picked up again in September and is gaining strength fast.

Beat the Rush

Wondering where to buy in London and which boroughs are going to show you the best value. Whether you are getting onto the property ladder, buying a family home just just looking for your next move, considering where property prices will be in the next 5-10 years should always be a consideration.

Heres are few up and coming boroughs in London, where property prices are below the capitals average;

  • Brent
    • Includes areas such as Queens Park, Kilburn and Harlesden and with the huge regeneration around wembley stadium the area is on the up. A development company called Quintain built housing and improved walkways around the three stadiums.
  • Kinston Upon Thames
    • Sitting on the south bank of the Thames, the local market predominantly consists of the domestic purchaser and families who flock to the area for lower than average prices and great schools.
  • Ealing
    • Crossrail is giving life to some areas providing quick access to the city and Ealing is one of those.
  • Tower hamlets
    •  To the east of the City, Tower Hamlets includes areas such as Canary Wharf, Whitechapel and Bow. Two different regenerative forces have been at work over the last ten years, the Olympic effect and the pull of Old Street.
  • Harrow
    • On the end of the Jubilee line is a gateway to the desirable belt of Hertfordshire which is only 12 minutes to Marylebone from Harrow-on-the-Hill.
  • Bromley
    • Catching the over spill from the more expensive Dulwich, Bromley boasts a returning local high street, good schools and good transport links to Waterloo East, Charing Cross, Victoria and London Bridge.
  • Waltham Forest
    • Far enough away from the city that you don't really feel like you are in it but with very good transport links, Waltham Village boasts local breweries and bric-a-brac shops.

Another Happy Customer

Delighted to say one of our private clients completed her purchase of a house we found her in Dorchester today. She had been looking for 6 months herself and thankfully we managed to find her an off market property within a week. It was very rewarding to help such a lovely lady find such a nice house that ticked all her requirements.
